Even if it is IE8 there are still compatibility issues that need to be dealt with. Internet Explorer uses Active X of the Adobe Flash Player and this is the root of the issue. Here are some recommended fixes: best case would be to use another browser - Wave works very well with Chrome, FireFox and Safari. BUT, if switching browsers is not an option follow these steps: <ul> <li>Go to http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/</li> <li>If you are using Internet Explorer, click on "Different operating system or browser". This link should also work http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/otherversions/</li> <li>Select your operating system, and then select "Flash Player 10 for [your OS] - Other Browsers"</li> </ul> I hope this takes care of the problem. :) @mzmacky,

He said he had no problem playing other videos on his machine. (vista I think).
