As per the media, in recent years, together with the war on terror, something very strange emerged among politicians and other powerful leaders; they all become sensitives and try not to go publicly against groups that fights on the name of Islamic faith. That said, I think there is a legitimate beef with the article in that it does, to a degree, paint Hasan in a sympathetic light. Citing him mental illness and the Army as a whole dropping the ball when it comes to identifying and treating soldiers who suffer from varying degrees of mental problems.
