Guys, sorry but I have to disagree emphatically about this. I absolutely LOVE this trade and Cashman ought to be commended.

Austin Jackson was a nice prospect, no doubt hyped by the New York machine, who will be a nice major leaguer but does not project to be a great. Meanwhile Phil Coke and Ian Kennedy are serviceable big leaguers at best, Kennedy having the better upside.

Granderson is a plus 4 WAR player and will be a massive upgrade over the Melky / Gardner duo in terms of center field value (a premium defensive position).

Do yourselves a favor and read this short but informative article about the deal. Dave Cameron does a far better job explaining it than I can.

Curtis Grand-dad?

I would much rather that the rumors of the Halladay trade came to fruition than this abomination. Should we be pointing the finger at Cashman for these awful pay-too-much-for-washed-up-players mentality, or is the Steinbrenners?

Well the latest, is that the Yanks are trading Kennedy, Coke, and the friggin best prospect in their system for Curtis Granderson! Seems like a dubious move to me...but what do I know

If the Yanks lose, when will it be safe to talk to you again?

Also, I want to live in a world where HDR Times Square exists. It's a hell of a lot better looking than real life!

I think it would be wise to have paramedics standing by at your house for the duration of the series.
