Backyard Macro Photography

I spent some long overdue quality time with my Canon EF 100mm macro lens this weekend. I did not have to go far to do so.

Like a snapshot ready magnifying glass, the macro lens brings the tiny world of bugs and bottle caps into focus. I have not nearly exploited this photo technique enough and I hope to be taking more pictures like this in the future.

Thanks man, I’m hoping to get some cool fall shots once the leaves start falling. And come winter some closeups of snowflakes should be sweet too.
