Spanish Dominance can no longer be denied
Earlier in the week, Andrew Blanco bewildered us all with his apochraphyl tale of one Don Carlos. It made little sense at the time, which frankly was unsurprising considering the source. But when I happened upon no less than 17 airings of this commercial last night during perpetual reruns of Survivorman, it suddenly all came together: There can be no doubt of the untainted lineage of The Most Interesting Man in the World.
His reputation is expanding faster than the Universe.
In all seriousness though, this is one of the best advertising campaigns I have come across in years.
“STAY THIRSTY, my friends.”
And Andrew, I now understand the nature of your ways.
People hang on his every word, even the prepositions.
Dos Equis has just released a brand new commercial starring The Most Interesting Man in the World.
Be amazed as he disarms you with his looks—and his hands. Stand in awe while he speaks French—in Russian.
Who is the Dos Equis Man?
In case you were wondering, the actor playing The Most Interesting Man in the World is in fact Jonathan Goldsmith, and he does indeed live vicariously through himself.

Oh yes oh yes, the Spaniards certainly have a monopoly on awesomeness. I’ve known this for quite some time.
