The Truth About Most of Us

The truth is, when we see others in danger, we don’t rush to help. At the nation’s diplomatic level, dealing with foreign affairs never was too popular among leaders of the past.  Fostering an international relationship is a tough and complicated job and it seems like countries are very careful to keep from criticizing other countries. What happens then, when a brutal ruling dictatorship does whatever they wish in its own territory? Should we stick our head in the sand when it comes to tragedies such as Darfur, Ethiopia and its neighbors and last summer’s conflict in Georgia?

When Saddam’s dictatorship ruled Iraq, when women were not allowed to walk the poor streets of Baghdad (while governors enjoy extreme richness), and professors in universities teach for the hatred of any and all Western values, and civilians were killed and beheaded daily by the order of religious fanatic Islamic extremists, none of the Moderate Arab nations, as well as other countries raised their voice in opposition. It was long after the U.S. Army established some sort of neutralization in the country that one could start hearing the voice of moderate communities that support the operation and the Iraqi people could freely express their wishes for a better life. The U.S. had to do that dirty job, while the rest of the world didn’t care. And don’t let anyone fool you.

This is why Israel went into Gaza; to defeat the devil sources from attacking the weakening society, to prevent the formation of a terrorist land which would attract many murderers worldwide, to stop the genocide of the Palestinians by their own people. In Gaza’s pre-school institutions children learn that the devil; Israel has to be wiped out, and G-D would help any martyr to achieve this mission and reach heaven. In Gaza’s university, professors encourage students to become martyrs and to die for the sake of participating in the Holy War of Jihad. Does that bother anyone in the international community?

The so called “international community” don’t care what is really happening in Gaza each and every day. For the last seven years the Israeli villages of Sederot and Ashkelon have had to bare the brunt of 6,000 rockets flown over from Gaza while Israeli children practice finding a safe shelter in less then 30 seconds. The international community could care less. Even when it comes to their own money, not to say that money is more important then lives, the international community doesn’t really care. Otherwise, could someone please explain me why there is not even one foreign army guarding the millions of monetary investments by the EU, which wind up in terrorist hands? Now, according to the new UN resolution for cease-fire, some EU countries such as France and the Czech Republic are considering sending troops to Gaza. Someone had to take responsibility for that matter and Israel couldn’t stand aside. That is, unfortuantly, the truth.
