My Name is Jack Gamble, and I Have Returned

For many moons I have been engaged in a relentless battle to defend the world of reactivity management. With the dark forces of frugality and finance amassed before me, I entered into a clash sure to shake the pillars of hell.

The onset of battle was a dark and perilous time. Numbers and budgets flew at me in unrelenting waves that blanketed the ground I stood upon. With enemies surrounding me and their mercy withheld, I endured the barrage and held the line awaiting the impending career doom.

With defeat in sight, an ally was found in the first among knights. With my cause just and boots planted steadfast, he would join me in battle. Having he, whom held the kings ear, in arms at my side, others soon rallied until, backed by an alliance of engineers and operators, I smighted my foe and laid down his ruin upon a mountain of stone and iron.

I now return victorious to a deafening silence devoid of song or cheer. Enemies have been made and a vendetta not soon forgotten weighs on me. I must proceed with caution in the face of victory, for another battle surely awaits me.

I say let them come, and have their gods prepare for blood.

Glad the battle went well. Corporate attrition is nothing to laugh at.
