This report is ridiculous and his amazing plays at SS have been the reason why the Yanks have won 4 WS between 1996-2000. Maybe hes not the BEST offensively or defensively as stats and this report would indicate, but hes the inspirational leader and captain of the team. Numbers are good, but they don't always tell the whole story. Intangibles, which by very definition, cannot truly be quantified and are missed by these purely numerical analyses.
