I can’t remember what happened last night.
I woke up this morning and last night was a complete blank. Even more disconcerting, I haven’t had more than a drink since New Year’s Eve. Everything is simply gone from my mind.
The story is the same on TV news. There is nothing about what happened last night. In my quest for answers, I looked all over internet news. I asked people. Nobody has any recollection. I sat down with a few receipts and scribbled notes and tried to figure out just why I would get them and not remember them, and astonishingly, the ink vanished before my very eyes.
I eventually found a ToDo list written in pencil, which said that the Super Bowl was an actionable item.
It was then I realized just what had happened. Not only had the Giants won a football game, but they had (perhaps through arcane spellcraft) physically prevented history from being written. Humanity had been warned by pundits and fans alike that this is possible, but to no avail. The events of February 3rd, 2008 are forever lost to mankind.

I blame String Theory for this.
The Giants beat the Patriots in an amazing Super Bowl. The best part is that the government has decided to investigate Spygate, so there still might be some history written this year about the Pats. It just looks as though it will not be about how great they are, but instead how bad they are.
This is ridiculous. What, like everyone is in so much disbelief that the past has been erased? Wow, you are so creative I think I want to vomit. It’s a ******* football game dude, and I knew the ******* Giants were going to win the whole time. Just like anyone else should have when thinking about how much the Patriots were built up to be invincible. I remember every bit of it and it was EXCELLENT. Here in the future, the past has occurred. Deal with it.
FYI, some of the people here are big Giants fans (myself included).

I’m sorry, do I need to fly a giant “This Post Is Sarcastic” banner above your house in order for you to comprehend hyperbole? I would have shouted it by megaphone from a helicopter, but one isn’t available to me in the short term. I’ve seen some poor reading comprehension in my day, but you were able to actually make it through the entire post without understanding the fact that I was gently poking at people who were saying “Will the Giants stop history from being made?”. It’s shocking, really. Better luck next time.
